ever since I ran 19 psi with out water. oops. oh, PS, i'm on stock turbos and injectors. I can't believe I blew my intake hose off. pretty kewl: Question for you, if you dont mind... How do you know how much 'aqua' to inject? until the car stumbles, then I back it off a jet size. right now, the car feels great. So i'm on the fence on whether to keep going with larger jets or just be happy with what I got. Also, Damon and I only ran 1.0 mils on his car. That's all we had. I'm effectively running 1.7mils...So we'll see what the dyno has to say. If I get that far. Oh, I'm gonna have Damon do my compression test. One of my hundreds of flaws is that I rush things sometimes. So I'll let someone with stable hands and a stable mind help out.
: : finished amist. : : - got my diagnostic lights working (LEDs have a very distinct pos/neg or whatever...i forgot that part). : : - tuned the jet sizes (.8 + .9 in each pipe). - ran 4-5 hard 4th gear runs with out water...steady 1.0 bar on the avc-r. : : - water comes on at about .67 bar (what is that 8-9 psi?)...gonna have to turn that up a notch. : : - turned water on (didn't touch the AVC-R)...HOLY CHRIST...1.19 bar first run (thats an additional 3 PSI). Pretty damned smooth (very noticable difference). And the engine absolutely SINGS under boost. Sings I tell ya... : : - Got the AVC-R to stabalized at 1.2 bar but blew the drivers side turbo to intercooler intake hose. Not just popped off, but POPPED the eff off. It's all bent and funny looking. I should take a picture of it...It's just so odd that it'd go the way it did. : : Just thought I'd share. : : Oh, since I think I bent a valve last week, i'm gonna back boost off to 12. I really didn't expect it to do what it did.
